Phil was working as an external consultant for a client that was undergoing dramatic growth. It is the kind of growth that would rival the world’s largest growth projections for an organization. The original scope of the engagement was to assist the organization to establish a Project Management Office in a medium-sized company of 1,000 employees. The PMO would assist divisions across the company to more effectively manage their projects.
