The IT&T SIG and PMI Oklahoma City Chapter are in the planning stages for taking on a joint project to help out a very worthwhile cause in Oklahoma City. HeartLine is a non-profit based in Oklahoma City that provides a number of telecom dependent, critical services to the Oklahoma City area, including a suicide prevention hotline, a 2-1-1 line, and a Gatekeeper program designed to help vulnerable older residents who need help but are unable to get it. The objective of the project is to help HeartLine evaluate their current call center system and make recommendations for optimization. The project will be the first joint effort between the IT&T SIG and PMI OKC, and we need your help! We are looking for 1-2 volunteers who can work remotely and help out with this project. (PMI OKC will be handling the onsite local effort.) This is strictly a volunteer gig, but if you have experience in setting up/optimization call centers and would like to learn more about how you can help us with the project, we could definitely use your help.
