How has Web 2.0 changed the way you run projects? Are you communicating differently? Are you using more interactive tools like wikis? Or are things just the same as before? Saving Changes...
So far collaboration is still the same with in our projects.
I have been searching and evaluating some applications, and the really interesting one are web 2.0 so i expect that we will have something web 2-ish next year.
There is no doubt for me that the social/professional networking sites which are available now gives a very good idea on how we can be more interactive and effective in our collaboration efforts.
We are implementing the new version of Lotus Notes and from what I have seen with Lotus Connections, Unyte and Quickr there are some very cool functions waiting to be used. Saving Changes...

What i see, coming our way is a challenge of scoping the projects. Web 2.0 instigates public networking, collaborations and sharing, and all these bring diversity to play a major role. Diversity in turn triggers the varying and nonstop flow of requirements from a diverse nature of client. I guess this scenario will give a hard time to managers.
Moreover there is very likely that Web2 will evolve into some more sophisticated form, exploiting on some smart hardware platforms. Project management will probably need to wear the same dress in which applications would be disguising in.

I don't see a lot of change at this point.
In the companies I've work in lately, the trend is toward SharePoint for collaboration, or at least as a document library. Although this works, I find that it sometimes restricts your view. Sometimes you need to see things across a portfolio or program.
I'll be honest, I haven't thought about using wikis, etc.
So, I'll put a question to you Bob. Are you using or recommending wikis, etc. in your projects? Saving Changes...
