I create this topic to discuss some differences in project and program management approaches, particularly in scope management.
There is a "Verify Scope" in the PMBoK - process to accept or reject project deliverables. But there isn't such process in PgM standard.
What processes for scope verifying are you using at PROGRAM level? Note at program level we have to verify "benefits" achieving and accept deliverables outside program components, right?
In some programs we stated KPIs as output benefits of program.
For example: "ability to reduce order processing time up to 20%".
Could you provide some KPIs examples from your programs?
How scope verification looks like at program level in your programs?
It's an significant knowledge area to discuss, imho.
I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they choose a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas.
