I have been evaluating a lot of systems the last few months (more than 100) to see what system would fit our organization the best. We wanted to have a system that could be used in various parts of our Company. We develop software and needed the Project Management System for that. But, we also wanted to have a good system that could gather the rest of the time spent on each product. Because of this we needed good Time Management in the system as well. Since we work with ITIL in IT and we wanted to have a good way for people to order changes/help for Incidents we needed to have this in the system. We have a lot of customers and need a good support system for the customers and the ability for the customers to follow what happened with their support calls. So, that was also a requirement. What we wanted to have, but was not a requirement, was to have somewhere to organize our documents, preferably with version management. If this was implemented, we needed it to be secure. After quite a long time of evaluation we found that the only system that supported our needs and was also easy to work with was VisionProject (www.visionproject.se). The good part was also that it was extremely easy to configure and to get started. The intuitive user interface makes is really helpful to get the users working quickly.

ValleySpeak Project Server allows the Project Managers to use Microsoft Project as a Managing tools in real time. It enables me to view and share the Microsoft Project schedules with team members in real time It lets me continue to use for managing your schedules and projects and at the same time it is easy to use and have access to the web based browser. It lets me to update the schedules through the browser. As the server uses the native Microsoft Project file, I can report the task in real time. It gives me the facilities far beyond what Microsoft Project alone provides, allowing to use the files in a collaborative environment. It provides 100% Two Way Integration with Microsoft Project. It also provides me with the Discussion forums that are helpful for you. It is easy to use it as it is compatible with Microsoft Project 2007 and provides highly secured solution with built in firewall and is used on Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista. for further details visit http://www.valleyspeak.com

At the training company at which I work, we've noticed high demand for Microsoft Project. We offer classes based on the software, as well as one-to-one tuition, for example: http://www.knowledgetrain.co.uk/microsoft-project-ms-overview.php People are clearly keen to develop pm software skills, as well as being able to grasp the principles of project work. We have produced our own pm templates, but also like another project management tool called 'PROJECT in a Box' and often make it available to our delegates: http://www.projectinabox.org.uk/

ValleySpeak project server is a centralized MPP Viewer that enables viewing and sharing of Microsoft Project schedules with team members in real time without investing in expensive multiple Microsoft Project licenses. ValleySpeak project is a hosted MPP Viewer that enables team members to view their respective tasks as per the Project on their web interface. Team members can also update their task status and on approval it gets reflected on the Microsoft Project files of the project manager. Only the project manager needs Microsoft Project. The team members can view their MPP tasks through the web interface. for more information visit www.valleyspeak.com

I don’t think there are 20 types of project management software as such. But there are probably 20+ capabilities they can have. These would include... <br> Resource / task scheduling <br>- Portfolio management <br>- Issue, risk, action management / RAID logs <br>- Collaboration <br>- Stakeholder reporting <br>- Status reporting (i.e. weekly / monthly project highlight reports) <br>- Time tracking / timesheets <br>- Capacity planning (high level resource planning) <br>- Project accounting (i.e. keeping track of spend / budgets) <br>- Project approval process / workflow A lot of organisations will management the above using a combination of (for example) MS Project and spreadsheets. If you are interested in learning more about a tool that integrates these in one place take a look at our software <a href=
