Shailesh Thakkar has over 17 years of broad-based and successful experience in Project Management, Program Management, and Portfolio Management within IT/IS, Mortgage Insurance, Banking, Logistics, Transportation, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Petrochemical, and Construction industries. He has led and managed Project/Program Management Offices (PMO), multiple projects and teams, enterprise-wide initiatives, and large-scale ERP and EPM system implementations.

His experience within IT/IS industry include managing projects and programs in the areas of application development, product management, and system integration utilizing full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Project Management Methodologies. He worked with virtual teams located at Australia, Japan, China, Turkey, Belgium, UK, Brazil, Mexico, USA, and Canada.

He is talented and experienced at defining, modifying, and implementing Project Management Methodologies (PMM), processes, standards, best practices, and governance.

Shailesh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Project Management. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt (ASQ CSSGB). He holds Certificate of Added Qualification in Project Management Office (CAQ-PMO), a Certificate of Added Qualification in Information Technology Systems (CAQ-ITS), and a Master’s Certificate in IT Project Management.
