New Zealand-based structural steel specialist, Red Steel, delivers contracts throughout the country. The organization fabricates at its own facility and has a team managing a wide variety of projects, from steel cutting to building the steel structures on-site for clients.
Red Steel needed a system for tracking the fabrication process where it manufactures many different elements. It had been tracking quotes and projects—as well as who made different components, along with when it was made and dispatched—on a custom-built database, and using a mix of spreadsheet and paper.
