How to Stay Empathetic During Complex Projects

There are many characteristics of complex projects that could cause concern. Here are four example characteristics that may concern members of your project team—with help on how to respond as a leader. Each ends with questions you should ask to get input from the team, a key way for them to be part of the solution.

1. When the problem is a huge number of stakeholders, your project team can see many possibilities for miscommunication and confusion that can present obstacles throughout the project.

  • “We know how to be successful here. Good communication is the key and we will put plans in place to make sure we are successful in our messages.”
