With a force of 2,500 frontline officers and support staff, Cumbria Constabulary is charged with policing the county of Cumbria, located in the northwest of England.
Cumbria Constabulary needed to modernize the technology used by officers in the community. Their frontline applications, used to gather information about incidents in the field, needed to be flexible and agile to be able to adapt to constant changes in legislation, compliance requirements, and challenges that officers face while serving.
The project was also up against a tight deadline, with a key requirement to create and build a cost-effective solution quickly
