Hyde has been around since the beginning of TeamPlay--back in the spring of 1999--when he worked on one of TeamPlays first sales, to Priceline.com. After cutting his TeamPlay teeth on Priceline.com, Hyde got on board with a project sponsored by the U.S. Navy. The Aegis Project involved KPMG and TeamPlay collaborating on the integration of IT systems with a new data mart and the improvement of CMM levels across the organization using TeamPlay.
Beginning a project as large as Aegis required keeping track of the lowest level of detail so that the larger pieces could fall into place. Hyde needed to have CIOs looking at cost data, while having rolled-up project information available for other executives. Project managers and executives needed to be kept in contact for problem-solving and decision-making actions.
