There are many misconceptions about emerging technologies that are becoming a huge roadblock in the digitization movement.  One report stated that over 60% of digital transformation projects fail to achieve their objectives.  This is driving the approach to implementing emerging technologies and digital transformation to adopt an incremental development approach to aide in organizations change initiatives.  This approach reduces risks and decreases the human impact that accompany many of these initiatives.  It is essential that we all recognize that these changes impact each person differently and plan to address these impacts!

The English writer Max McKeown said, “Adaptability is about the powerful difference between adapting to cope and adapting to win.”

What is your organization's definition of adaptability - cope or win?

Seems like CRM failure rate in in 2000, about 80%, after a few years it was much better.

Interesting Info Kevin, 60% failure rate is significant ....

Could there be both adapting to cope and adapting to win? Always amazed to see the percentage of failure that is socialized with these types of [referenced] articles.

@ Andrew Hold on to your hat!!!! Forbes reported "Why 84% Of Companies Fail At Digital Transformation" AND InformationWeek reported that "Over 60% of Organizations Have no Formal Transformation Strategy" NOT A VERY GOOD PICTURE!
