Now this is interesting.  Researchers at Harvard developed a remarkable new battery technology.  This new development allows the batteries to run for over a month!  Now that is disruption. 

The consumer market is projected to top US$43 billion by 2022.  Think about the dramatic changes to the market.

And the cost?

Flow batteries could be the future for storing energy from renewable sources.
When will they be available for commercial use? is the big question. and will they be less than $100 /kwH.

Innovations are what future is about.

@ Sante No cost provided given this is lab produced not mass produced in quantity.

I wonder if this will also solve the battery melt-downs and fires!

This is going to make solar power storage more dependable even in rainy season.

Now that will be an improvement!
