I hope to create and foster discussion about how PMOs provide value to their constituents, their customers if you will. I strongly beleive that for too long, PMO practioners have focused on metrics and activities that do not necessarily add value to the business. PMOs tend to be set up based on theoritical models, with a rush to meet standards and best practices without regard to the needs of the business it serves. From time to time, I will post my thoughts of how PMOs can provide value and I hope others will add their thoughts as well.
