The end of project activities coordinate final delivery of the system to the customer and shut the project down. This checklist will help you make sure the project ends smoothly and that you've preserved all the critical information and reusable components. It addresses the things you need to consider so users are positioned to use the system, the project can be restarted if necessary in the future, the system can be properly maintained, and future projects can benefit from the lessons learned on this one. Use this checklist in the beginning of your project, too, to be sure that planning is done and time allocated in the schedule to prevent the end-of-project "gotchas."
