Why Learing curve are not using for parametric estimating
Network:37

I'm sorry. I don't understand the question. Parametric estimating relies on good historical data - metrics. So we have kept track for previous projects on how long certain activities have taken and we can use that data to calculate how long activities will take in our project. In that regard, "lessons learned" are applicable to parametric estimating.

A "learning curve" is the rate at which a person can learn a new skill. It's considered "steep" if the new skill is complex and not related to something he or she is already familiar with. I can't see how that would apply for parametric estimating.
