Drawing people to your GIG

Once you've opened your GIG and added some content, it's pretty easy to
just walk away and hope people will come. To some degree they might, but it will be a slow process. One of the fastest ways to get people to join is to invite them. So in the upper right hand corner of your GIG you'll see (if you are an admin in that GIG) an option to "invite people to join" menu item. Click on that and it will bring you to this screen, which allows you to invite the people you are directly connected to:

The second tab option on this page, however, is much more powerful. It gives you the option to SEARCH all of gantthead for people that might be interested in your group and invite them as well.

We ask that you select each one individually because we don't want everyone inviting every gantthead member to every group - but it still gives you an easy way to attract lots of people.

can you make it switchable? so I can select to see all members or just ones that havent been invited already?

At the moment its really hard for me to invite anyone as I have invited the first 24 pages or so and I have to flick through those pages each time before I can select some more people to invite. As you can only select one page lot at a time and once the invites are sent it takes you back to the GIG its really slow and will be impossible once I get up to page 50 or more and theres 870 pages of people that match my search criteria :-)

We've switched it back to the way it was for now. We'll look into making it more flexible.
