Improving Response Rates of Patient Satisfaction Surveys


Please share with me your project management experience on Patient Satisfaction Surveys, Patient Experience Surveys, Staff Experience Surveys.


1. Does anyone have any experience administering standard patient satisfaction surveys in a hospital, ambulatory clinic, and/or detention health? (Example: AHRQ Patient Safety Culture, etc. )

2. If yes, how did you administer the survey (mail, email, IVR, etc.)? Which survey?

3. Did you use any third party vendor to administer it? Which one?

4. How did you improve your response rate? What did you do to increase the responses?

5. Any best practices/ lessons learned that you would like to share?

Good discussion thread. I guess this is very case-based and a project managemetn framework can generally apply as in stakeholder register, communication methodologies etc.
