Looking for a software that can be used to assign & track tasks. The software to have dashboards which indicates status of task person-wise, department-wise, delayed/completed/in progress, priority wise, etc.

What type of work flow are you looking for? Do you want team members pulling in work or are you pushing it out? Who will update the status of tasks? How large a set of people are we talking about? That might help to narrow down choices...

Hi Kiron, also want to know what is the most appropriate tool for the purpose of pulling members in work. Everybody can update the status of the tasks and our team is under 20 members. Thanks for your suggestion!

Hi Kiron, It is push type in which assignee to update status. Around 100 team members will be using it on regular basis. We have a lot of project reviews and we want to push the actionable points to the concerned for tracking.

I use Trello. Asana is another popular one, there are so many out there. Other than the comments already made, I would check with the org/team to see if they are using anything at the moment, as that can make it challenging to introduce something new.
