Can we assess Impact of HRM Practices on Team Performance?

There are a lot of research work related to HRM Practices on Team Performance and Employee performance but no literature is available on Team Performance.

I want to conduct research Impact of HRM Practices on Team Performance, so is it possible or my intended work is not valid?

I think it would be useful to conduct research on the impact of HRM practices (I assume Human Resource Management) on Team Performance. One of the aspects could be the matrix reporting relationships and what, if anything, an organization's HRM would have on the performance of a team.

Adnan, great question. Do you mean Project Resource Management per Chapter 9 of the 7th Ed. PMBOK(r) Guide? From my experience, Human Resources generally deals with individuals where as PMs generally deal with teams. My only caution, be clear when you start, what question are you asking? From your wording and Samuel's I see two very different questions:
#1 - How to measure the effectiveness (of the Tools and Techniques of Project Resource Management per Chapter 9 of the 7th Ed. PMBOK(r) Guide) on team performance in producing acceptable deliverables.
#2 - What affect do HRM Organizational Practices have on PM's leadership, based on the organization's configuration: (hierarchy, matrix or projectized)
