Building Automation Systems and the Information Technology infrastructure
Building Automation Systems have become an inherent fixture of almost every commercial facility. So much so, that with the advent of a web enabled user interface, the BAS has increasingly become reliant on the facility's information technology infrastructure.

I have two questions: First - as an IT Project Manager, has anyone interacted with Controls contractors in their course of work, or has led infrastructure projects. Secondly, as a lessons learned, has anyone developed risk responses, or SOP's in reference to managing an IoT, or edge network for the building automation system?
I led those type of initiatives from 1998. There is no difference between those initiatives or any other where vendors are involved. The focus must be the interface betwee the organization and the vendores mainly the contracts. That is the hard component.
