I prefer Microsoft Project, for it can do anything I require of it. Depending on the types of projects you're managing, Jira might suit your needs better.

I remember someone asking a professional photographer what was the best camera? His answer: "the one you have".

Don't try to solve your problem by switching software. Each one has its own idiosyncrasies, learning curves and drawbacks. Instead, become an expert with what's at hand. Because of the ubiquity of Microsoft Office, I decided to learn as much as I can about the tools, especially Visual Basic for Applications. It has allowed me to craft solutions that meet specific needs and problems.

Hello Marcelo,
MS project should do the work. Even excel should be fine depends on your needs. Just think about what is really necessary for you, before you spend money on expensive PM tooling.

In case agile approach is on your mind, than look for JIRA and make a combination with some easy roadmap app.
