Motivating team during recession / no job time

Hi,

This is the time where everyone of us are affected by Recession. You have a team which highy skilled but you have have enough work to give them. What do you think being manager, one should do to keep the team motivated.

I think you want to say you don't have enough work for the highly skilled team. As I said in Samson's post under leadership, you need to motivate team in learning new things, go for certification and develop new skills so that the organization has more chances to utilize the team.
