Building Ethical AI
During the weekend I read this very interesting HBR article "Building an ethical AI for talent management": https://hbr.org/2019/11/building-ethical-ai-for-talent-management

The author suggests 4 steps to build an ethical AI for talent management.

- If you're working in the AI environment, what are the ethical aspect you consider when building AI solutions?
- If you're NOT working in this industry, what worry you the most? What aspect you would expect to be evaluated during implementation?

I had the chance to support (as an agile coach) one team which was using machine learning to get deeper insights into some of the customers of the bank I was consulting with.

From a talent management perspective, the common concerns with AI usage relate to unconscious (or conscious) bias making it a non-level playing field for candidates. For example, if the data set used to train the AI is lacking folks from a given community (e.g. ethnic, gender) the AI might disqualify applicants coming from that community.

Dear Fabio
Interesting theme this theme of ethics in the digital age
Thanks for sharing

Without having read the article you are referring to (I will read for sure) I think respect and ethics in the digital age will be very difficult

Contact between people is impersonal, ie via the internet

Many people take on characters that don't match their true identity.

Some of these people even assume various characters
That's what you call a persona
Dear Fabio

I just read the article you suggested and remembered the
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

I am from a time when 40% of the population owned 60% of the world's wealth.

According to some information, at this moment, 1% of the population owns 50% of the world's wealth.

In less than 50 years, inequality has significantly increased

Will AI be used to promote equal opportunities?
