I'm having challenge recording meeting minutes/timelines. I'm from R&D (pharma), when meetings are conducted to go over experiment updates, should the action items be only milestones or the progress of the experiments. Can someone please comment?

I worked in that domain. No matter that, I am using from years collaboration tools that can help to record the sessions. The only thing in the past for "ancient" people like me that worked when only a voice recorder exists is to talk in advance with the people that will be part of the session to aware them. Some people is not confortable with that.

I think it should be on both with the main item having milestone and the sub-items having progress updates. At least that's what I do.

I believe that meeting minutes/timelines should document all aspects of the meeting and decisions that are being made. These should include your experiment updates and milestones and the progress being made. Also, minutes should document any other significant events which are considered outcomes of the meeting.

I think somebody should come up with a way to breed a very large shrimp. That way, you could ride him, then, after you camped at night, you could eat him. How about it, science?
