Claiming Volunteer PDUs

Hello, I am a recent volunteer in a chapter. Please advise if there is an official guidelines on how to claim volunteer PDUs?
unsure on how to claim it in PMI website and be considered as volunteering hours. Answers will be much appreciated.

Log into pmi.org, go to https://ccrs.pmi.org/claim and claim one PDU per hour of volunteer effort using the bottom-most link on the right side (Giving Back) of that page.

For all PDU claims, you should have evidence substantiating the claim so in the case of volunteering, you should get your chapter to provide you with some proof of the work you did and how long the work was.

I agree with Kiron and would add:

For the volunteer hours, you will need a proof only in case you were audited, if I am not mistaken.
