About shipping a hardcopy certificate

I have renewed the PMP certificate but official said it is unable to ship out new hardcopy anymore.

Would PMI reconsider to ship out new certificates for candidates?

I have put much cost but it turns out their policy is directed to be environmently friendly.

It seems not to be friendly for exam takers.

Just a piece of paper of achievement.

Quite disappointing.

I would gladly pay an additional $15 if given the added option to issue a hardcopy paper official certificate of my PMP certification.

I agree with the majority here. We should have the option to print out a hard copy. I don't mind paying a fee with the seal. We all worked very hard to obtain our PMP certification.

We understand the desire for a hard copy of your certificate. In order to modernize and support our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC’s) Sustainable Development Goals, we will no longer provide hard copies of PMI Certifications. All candidates who pass a PMI exam receive a digital badge through Credly, which can be shared on social media and verified by employers. This digital badge both protects the integrity of your certification and reduces your carbon footprint.

Although having a hard copy of the certificate is great, yet, I do support PMI's decision as it does serve the greater good and contributes towards a greener planet.

Instead of reducing, you can actually do better by making the hardcopy available for $49, then using all proceeds towards sustainability. Make it for $99 to make an even bigger contribution to the environment.

Hello Ms. Kimberly, I am writing to express my desire for an option to purchase a high-quality, legitimate printed PMP certificate. As a Project Manager working at the White House, I take great pride in my professional achievements, and having a well-printed certificate with a gold seal would be a significant addition to my office décor, both at work and at home.

The effort and dedication required to study for and pass the PMP exam are considerable, and I believe that the option to obtain a professionally printed certificate would be a fitting acknowledgment of this accomplishment. A poorly printed certificate does not adequately reflect the prestige and hard work associated with obtaining the PMP certification.

I kindly request that this option be made available to all certified professionals, allowing us to celebrate our achievements appropriately.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to your positive response.

truly surprised that PMI not giving the candidates option to request hard copy certificates, no longer able to display PMI certificates in my office with original silver seal. Strongly encourage PMI to restate hard copies mailing out as an option.

I have my original certificate framed on my wall. But it was the original one with a date that has expired. I'd like to get a new one with the updated expiration date. How can I get it?
