Remember to Prioritize your Time...

Prioritize your Time!

"Time is the scarcest resource of the project manager; if it is not managed, nothing else can be managed." Peter Drucker, management guru!

Sometime we project managers tends to seek time and money, but forget that both can be achieved by proper time prioritization and efficient management.

Unlike other resources, time cannot be retained, banked, invested, or depreciated.

You are right.
Time itself can't be managed, all we can manage is how we use it.

Sometimes we do sequence certain tasks more important than another, so we are choosing some time to be more crucial than others. I think losing time on a non-critical sequence is less important than on the critical sequence. Therefore, in some cases, time is not money. This is my opinion.
