Hello,
I have been a member of PMI since 1997, and I just released my first book in February 2017. I was hoping the below Book Synopsis and Biography might make you consider my book for your book review program.

Off the Beaten Path – A Project Management Field Guide

It is time to redefine success.

The field of project management is ready for change. Though certification courses teach valuable skills, this profession is as much art as it is science.

When applying knowledge, it’s crucial to consider and accommodate a wide range of viewpoints—from sales teams to customers. Packed with relatable stories and fresh insights, Off the Beaten Path offers tweaks and advice designed to redesign and refresh your approach to project management.

• Build a schedule model that works with the client, contract, and team.
• Define what’s in the scope of a project and what is not.
• Understand the “What’s in It for Me” principle of communication.
• Move forward while keeping the organization’s strategy in mind.
• Create a metrics system that positively impacts the team.

The proper use of tools, strategies, and communication will allow your projects to run smoothly—and successfully.

Nicholas James Errico is an experienced project manager who eventually switched over to a services sales role. Errico is a speaker as well as an author, and both his book and talks feature a practical “in the field” approach to discussing services delivery, sales, management, strategy, and reward systems. He sits on the Iona College Project Management Advisory Board.

Errico has been an active member of the Project Management Institute for the last twenty years. He has spoken at various PMI symposiums, and he was the opening keynoter at the 2016 PMI Silicon Valley Chapter Symposium. He has also keynoted at various American Society for Quality events and numerous business-development conferences.

Originally from New York, Errico currently lives in the Dallas area with his wife and three children. Off the Beaten Path is part of the Real Life Professional Services series.

Congratulations on being published.
I agree with you that Project Management is as much an art form as a methodology and I am looking forward to hearing your insights to that end. I have found your book on Amazon and it is already receiving excellent reviews.
Thank you for your contribution to our wonderful community.
