How to introduce & implement the Project management processes in an organization ?

How to introduce & implement the PM processes in an organization where few peoples are positive about it and many other's are reactive/negative though they knows the benefits of it?

My observation is implementing the processes increases the work load on peers and they could not get time on core part (Coding + Testing etc) where they have to spend more time in maintaining the reports,docs,sheets, meetings etc.

Please suggest your views/techniques.

Project management is not about to maintain reports. All people in this world perform project management from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed. Inside organizations that will required some type of "formality" where "formality" means to follow a process. And as into each people life inside organizations that must be used if and only if it solves an organizational problem. Organizational problem arrives when organizational needs arrives (by definition of need). The same than people life. So, detect if some organizational need will be satisfy by using project management with some level of formality and then go ahead. If not, do not waist time. And by the way, today your organization is performing project management activities for sure without being aware on that.

Thank you for your feedback and yes somehow everyone has following the processes in day to day life knowingly or without knowingly.
In my current organization as well, we are following few customized processes and wanted to extend those so that we can overcome the current organizational problems.

But I am getting resistance from the few seniors to extend the processes and the reason they are giving that following those processes will be time consuming for them and they are not getting enough time for their core activities. Somehow they don't want to upgrade it.

Can you please help me in this?

After more than 30 years working on the field I could say It is a "classic" situation you have to face. The first thing you have to make is being visible the consequences for not doing that. Think about situations the organization face for not follow project management process. Better could be if you know about they personal life and talk about that situations. For example, risks. If you like to know about a formal method to sell the idea take a look to Solution Selling or SPIN Selling selling method that you will find for free into the internet. Put on their faces the loss they or the organization is facing because do not take care about scope, time, risk, quality and others. Forget to talk about process and documentation or about a PMO. Find the way to work with them in a natural way. For example, risk. Each time they are thinking about some strategy that demands to start a project take a pen and a piece of paper and work with them to answer "what if" making visible probable lost. Remember: no pain, no gain (literally, while I do not believe on it literally). You need to change a situation. Newton Laws of Movement explain how. You have to create an action greater than the reaction. And the way to do that what people is to make visible they pain.
