The problem with statement is: what does mean excellent for you?. For me, it does mean if they are aligened with my process. Not 100% but as close as possible.

If you are looking for a perfect project manager software, then i will recommend you to use Project Manager. but if your focus is team collaboration and productivity then i will recommend you TaskQue.

Eric, really depends on the needs of the organization. Hosted or Cloud? Client or Web? Microsoft stack? Integration points/needs? Project execution approach(es)?

Its best to identify what exactly is required within the organization around project management practices, socialization needs, content storage requirements.
