Does anyone have a Change Management approach to share?

My boss asked me to help our PMO Manager with a change management approach for an internal project. I will greatly appreciate any presentation you can share with me.

Thanks in anticipation!

Rodrigo -

A generic change management model starts with identifying your stakeholders, analyzing them relative to the change, developing a change strategy and from that a plan with specific tactics or levers to achieve the adoption & sustainment you are hoping for.

Without having specifics on the project and the stakeholder groups and their impacts/influence/interest it will be pretty difficult to provide any presentation which would be useful to you.

You may wish to download and read PMI's Pulse of the Profession on change management: https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...sc_lang_temp=en

I've also found a lot of value from Kotter's books Leading Change and A Sense of Urgency.

Hope that helps!

First of all you have to take into account that one thing is Organizational Change Management and the other is Project Change Management. If you are talking about the second then you have to take into account that it is a component inside Project Configuration Management. Then, my recommendation is not reinvent the wheel. Go for IEEE Standards starting for Configuration Management standards. And not matter you will find standards related to software you can get it because the basement is the same.

I echo Stephane's comment. For organizational change, Prosci is a great resource.
