As per the general definition,
" Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution."
Not being a lawyer, I don't understand legal side, but as the world is increasingly going digital I am curious to understand what "copyright" means in digital world.
Here are some questions...
What role does Copyright play in today's digital world?
Is copyright violation subject to different interpretations based on the use of copyrighted material?
If an author attributes the original owner of the media when the media is used within the web site or mobile app, does it amount to copyright violation?
What does an author/blogger supposed to do to use an image within a web site or mobile app so that the due credit is given to the original work and does not amount to copyright infringement?
You find lots of image on the net and you always need know the source of the image, What do you do to use the image in such a situation ?
All these celebrities whose photographs are printed in news, do the journalists take a written consent from those being clicked before their use in print or online media? What does amount to copyright violation ? Saving Changes...
