How do you decide what webinar interests you and causes you to sit in live or watch after?

So many great webinars! How do you go about deciding from among so many which ones to watch?

For me, it depends what areas interests me more. For example, Agile and Construction are of high interest to me. As for watching live or on demand, it depends on the time of the live webinar, if it is convenient then will sttend live, if not then will put it on my watch list and see it on demand.

How great is it that we have the luxury to view on demand! My recent webinar was also presented to CMAA - check it out, it might be of benefit to you.

I'm not sure interest is something one decides. But we can decide to watch something we are interested in. I watch webinars that help fulfill PDU's, and first preference among those are ones that are interesting.

When interest and need collide it is a good thing!

I tend to be very eclectic in my tastes. That means I'm pretty much interested in just about everything.

When it comes to webinars, I usually go for on demand since I can better fit them in my schedule. I will look at the Talent Triangle for my three certifications based on which of the three talents I need to work on.

Once that list comes back, I usually take the most recent.

It works for me!

We must be kindred spirits! I also look for what meets interest...and need. While I like being THERE when the webinar happens, the luxury of choosing when to watch is a nice perk - and convenience!

You're welcome, Teresa. I deliberately did not put it in as I thought it was a great "teach how to fish" opportunity.
