Where can I find the webinars to watch videos & claim PDUs

Hello,

I want to know where can I watch recorded webinars to learn and claim PDUs in a month.

You can watch on-demand (recorded) webinars on this site, also you can register for live webinars.
Go to Webinars section, and you will get all the information you need.

If you are a paid PMI member, you will have access to all webinars. Just go under the webinars section and youcwill find a list of recorded webinars divided as per PMI Triangle.

Yeah, the problem is I am not a paid member, I found only handful webinars which are free rest are for premium members.

My questions is:
- Where can I find free webinars?
- Do I have to pay to PMI to renew my license. I believe I can report PDUs without paying any fee, so if I have to pay to PMI for renewing my PMP license then it will make sense to come back to this website and watch paid webinars.

Any thoughts?

It is not a must to renew your membership to report PDU’s but what being a paid member comes with many advantages. Anyhow, you can attend courses, seminars and so on and can report their ODU’s as long as they are PM related. That’s the only thing I can think as it falls under education Education and you can also report 8 PDU per cycle for working as a practitioner.

Thanks Rami. Few more questions.

I was wondering regarding Giving Back, I have to report 25 PDU. How much maximum PDUs I can claim in each category

Work as a Practitioner
Create Content
Give Presentation
Share Knowledge
Volunteer

Do I have have to earn PDU in each category? e.g. I have been managing project as Project Manager for last 3 years, so how many PDU I have earned, and in which catgeory I need to show it?
If I have spent 1 hr in sharing Project Management knowledge to my colleague, can I claim it as 1 hr?

Under education, you can claim all 60 PDUs - There is a min of 35 but no max. However, under giving back there is a max of 25 of which 8 can be for working as practitioner and the rest can be allocated based on what you gave back to the community.

Working as Practitioner is max 8 PDUs per cycle of 3 years.

When you log into your PMI account, go to dashboard and go to your CCRS, there is a handbook, it explains everything.

To track these PDU's on your own dashboard and get the full benefits, you are better off just paying the membership.

Naveed,

When login at ProjectManagement using you PMI you PDU are automatically recorded. I would think that is true even if your not a PMI member, you should have an account if you have a certification with PMI. The choice of webinars is more limited for non member.

You could watch Project Management webinars on media such as YouTube, you will need to report them on your PMI account manually.

You should check on PMI for limit on specific categories.

You also claim PDU for Book you have read in the cycle.

Naveed, each month I receive an email which provides a list of webinars occurring for the upcoming month. I can not remember if you need to be a member in order to receive the emails; but once you register and watch the webinar, the PDU's are automatically recorded as stated.

It is not a must to be a paid member, but the benefits easily outweigh the cost with content and ease of reporting when using your PMI credentials. Renewing your license does have a cost, less if a paid member. To cycle, you must attain PDU's in each of the talent triangle areas - Technology, Leadership, Strategic.
