This template is a simple, clean and modern version for small projects. This mini-charter template is only one page and includes sections for project goals, scope, deliverables, stakeholders, milestones, budget, constraints, assumptions, risks and dependencies. Brief instructional direction is provided.
This report helps you provide a concise and precise update on the current status of a clinical study and the achieved progress during the reporting period. It is usually distributed to a sponsor of the project, as well as the management of the company where the PM works. The main benefit of this report is that it addresses the major project constraints and provides only the relevant information needed to successfully manage the project and communicate with a diverse international team, typical for a matrix-based pharmaceutical company.
This MS Excel template is an example of a small or middle-range project including a WBS, a simplified schedule and a summary of progress, which uses earned value management (EVM). The supporting article (Stop Being Scared of Spreadsheets!) encourages mainly junior PMs to play with the template and practice their knowledge on small projects.
