As project managers we literally face dozens of decisions every day - big and small - from those more akin to intergalactic warfare to the everyday: how to deal with a challenging stakeholder, who to assign to which task, when is enough analysis enough, what sort of recognition is appropriate, etc. Yet most of us haven’t thought about the different roles we play in decision making, how we can add the most value, how we can harness the most value from our crew, and do we need more Spocks or Kirks to make the best decisions?
