Using the PMBOK 7 Project Performance Domains as our guide, we will discuss possible ethical dilemmas that could arise in these domains and explore how a project manager could determine the best approach to resolving these situations. As we work through these scenarios, the participants will have the opportunity to learn about PMI's four Ethical Values, gain an understanding of the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and become familiar with the use of PMI's Ethical Decision-Making Framework (EDMF) while also becoming more familiar with some of the changes now found in PMBOK 7. The ethical situations will span a number of different disciplines within project management, coming out of our collective experience in projects in construction, technology, and organizational change in government, partnership, and corporate contexts.
