I'm a design and management scholar . My research work develops theory, conceptual frameworks, and practical methods for communicating with key stakeholder groups how to organize and manage large, capital-intensive infrastructure projects, so-called megaprojects. Nevertheless, very little is written about how PM works in government. Most research and writing about government PM is about PM performed by private firms working under contract for public agencies. My focus is on the internal working of the agencies themselves, and how they manage projects.
