I’ve been working as a project manager for nearly 30 years and in that time I have managed and successfully delivered complex projects in construction, IT/IS, software, telecommunications, urban development, and organisational restructuring. I’ve leveraged this diverse experience to provide consulting advice to organisations around the globe, and worked with them to improve their portfolio, program, and project management capability, and individual practitioner competency.

I am a professional engineering project manager with wealth of experience in relationship and conflict management, team strategy and development, collaboration, project risk analysis, contract bidding, project planning, execution, scheduling, cost, quality and closing. I have solid organizational leadership and exceptional interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain relationships. I am experienced in PMBOK, Waterfall and Agile – Scrum & Kanban project management methodologies.

Tolitha has been a volunteer leader with PMI since 2008. She was elected to the PMICIC Board as the VP of Membership in 2017. Prior to that role, she has held roles in the Information Systems Specific Interest Group (PMI-ISSIG) 2008 through 2011 and in the PMI Consulting Community of Practice (CoP) from 2012 through 2015. In 2016, she led the PMI Book Club and was appointed to the PMICIC Board as the VP of Professional Development. Based in Indianapolis, Tolitha is a Sr. Project Manager.

A graduate of project management in corporate environments, Barbara now focuses on the value of project management in non-corporate environments. She connects individuals to simple project management tools and techniques appropriate to plan and manage risk on their projects. She advocates that the project experience in complex corporate environment offers valuable lessons that can be simplified for use in less complex organizational environment and as life skills for individuals of all ages.
