Leadership and Ethics
Great leaders are grounded in the values and ethics they embrace and demonstrate on a regular everyday basis. Ethical behavior is the foundation of what Peter Senge calls “Personal Mastery” – the ability to truly reflect and know what one stands for in the world. Chris Argyris from Harvard asks a troubling question when he challenges us to differentiate between “espoused values” and “values in use.” Often these are two different things, and because so few of us are as self-aware as we should be, the related issues of values and ethics gets somewhat muddied, and requires clarity to go forward. This webinar will focus on the broad issue of self-awareness and how it impacts the values and ethics that leaders embrace. This webinar will probably create more questions than it answers – and which is necessarily a good thing!
