It has become evident that effective Project Management, in the 21st century, has become significantly more demanding. The customer has been added to the PM table and is demanding higher and higher levels of project quality. The successful Project Manager can borrow many of the techniques used by Lean and Six Sigma disciplines to deliver products and processes to continually meet customer needs profitably.

Phillip C. Reinke is an instructor and consultant with Key Performance. He is an adjunct Professor of Process Improvement at Florida Atlantic University in addition to a “best-selling” author. Being one of the original 30 General Electric Master Black belts, he has worked within the Industrial Engineering and Process Improvement discipline for nearly 30 years and has also lead successful quality deployments for HJ Heinz, National City Bank, GE, CSX Transportation, First Data Corp., Western Union, and numerous schools and universities.
