Product Team Performance Study Findings
Actuation Consulting recently completed our 3rd annual global study of product team’s. This year 2,200 organizations participated in our study. The survey results are provided to a professional statistician for regression analysis. This year’s results sheds light on how product teams perceive they are performing, the types of product development processes that are currently in use and key factors that are shown to statistically optimize product team performance.
During this webinar we will also take a closer look at how the role of a project manager continues to evolve and the value that product teams currently place upon project managers.

About the Presenters: Greg Geracie is a recognized thought leader in the field of product management and the President of Actuation Consulting, a global provider of product management consulting, training, and advisory services to some of the world’s most well-known organizations. Actuation Consulting provides popular training courses for product managers and product teams and publishes the Study of Product Team Performance annually.
Greg is also the author of Take Charge Product Management and led the development of The Guide to the Product Management and Marketing Body of Knowledge as editor-in-chief with MIT professor Steven Eppinger. He is also an adjunct professor at DePaul University’s College of Computing and Digital Media where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on high-tech and digital product management.
Greg is a former board member of the Business Architecture Guild. As a Guild member Greg actively contributed to the BIZBOK Guide. Greg has also been asked to contribute his product management expertise to a growing list of other professional bodies of knowledge, including the IEEE first ITBOK and the latest BABOK Guide. Greg is a member of the IEEE Information Technology Committee.
Greg earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and continued his executive education at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the Wharton School.
Matt Jackson is the President of Jackson Consulting, a specialty provider of turnaround and operational improvement consulting services to some of the nation’s most well-known software companies. Matt is a Project Management Professional (PMP), the author of numerous whitepapers, and blog posts about software operations, has written for Fawcett Technical Publications, and currently writes for Agile Magazine, and Better Software magazine. Matt was the project management expert reviewer of The Guide to the Product Management and Marketing Body of Knowledge; (ProdBOK). Matt earned his undergraduate degree from City University with a double major in computer science and project management.
