Project management software has been around for a long while. Much of it hasn’t changed, and major features of major programs are pretty much the same as when the entered the marketplace decades ago. Nonetheless, the marketplace is changing, and changing quickly.
The changes are exciting to see. They promise new capabilities, new ways of thinking and doing and most importantly new ways of connecting, collaborating and communicating. Project managers today have far more variety—and far more choice—than they had even a few years ago. More solutions are emerging monthly. We are embarrassed for choice, even as many of us rely on solutions that we have used for years.
In this presentation, Mark Mullaly explores the new world of project management software. He looks at what is out there, why it exists and what it means. He explores and speculates on what is coming, and what it will enable. In particular, he explores the functionality and the software solutions that are appearing, and how they can help—and hinder—project management teams from effectively managing their work and getting things done.
Join us to discover what the on-trend project manager needs to know about software technology. Stay to find out whether it’s worth actually being trendy.
