I work for a large organization with branches spread across the United States. In an attempt to get better organized, we have moved to an agile approach to doing projects. However, the work I do is to troubleshoot the internal e-mail and servers for our corporation. I can’t get what I do to fit into the new framework required, and I’m wasting several days a month in planning meetings. What should I do?

A. Agile is a great, new way to plan out projects. But it will only work successfully if everyone in the company is on exactly the same process. Even though it is not the most efficient way for you and your team to structure things, give up your small-view practices for the greater good of the team as a whole.

B. The newest process on the market is SNAFF. It allows internal and external teams in manufacturing, construction, transportation, and information technology to all use an identical process for doing projects. This will create the best interface and fastest completion of all types of projects.

C. No two people are alike, so they don’t work alike. As long as everyone on the team understands the ultimate goal, it doesn’t really matter if each person chooses their own way of working to complete the part of…
