Agile methodologies are increasingly important in a world with globally interconnected challenges, where the pace of change requires project professionals to remain adaptable and resilient in the face of complex supply chains, sustainability concerns, and many other external factors.
As noted in the 2023 PMI report Navigating the Future of Work with an Agile Mindset, “Project practitioners and agile experts agree that fostering an agile way of working will allow organizations to empower their team members to be curious and innovative as part of this people-centered approach, promoting shared purpose and providing a means for increased work engagement.”
The following Q&A was conducted with panelists at a previous CXP meeting, where the focus of discussion included how to decide between an agile, predictive, or hybrid approach to managing projects.
