AI to the Rescue! How I Solved a Registration Nightmare

As a volunteer and director at my local PMI local chapter, the Pearl City Hyderabad Chapter, I experienced this proverb firsthand. Every year, we host our flagship event, Gyan Lahari. This year's event coincided with the start of a new job, making it impossible for me to volunteer as usual. Work commitments took precedence, but my heart remained with the chapter. I needed to find a way to contribute despite my constraints.

Inspiration: A Spark From LinkedIn

One day, as if the universe heard my plea, I stumbled upon a LinkedIn article by Peter Nixey. He detailed how he built an app to register attendees for an event he hosted. This was the inspiration I was seeking, as it's a perfect solution for our flagship conference registration process, too.

I thought to myself, "Can I replicate this"? From this seed of curiosity grew a journey of iterative development, aided by AI applications, that culminated in an innovative web-based mobile app for our conference registration.
