This is the last in the series on the path to certification, and we have a couple of new Project Management Professionals (PMPs) to share their good news with us. We will also hear from some gantthead readers who are still studying for the exam, and from some who plan to take the exam again soon.

I asked gantthead readers what it was like to prepare for the exam, drive to the site and actually sit through the exam. Let's see what they had to share with us. (And congratulations to each and every one of you for making the sacrifice of time and effort to implement the high standards of our profession, which benefits all industries where project management principles are used.)

 

Diana wrote:
"I am sitting for the exam this Friday. I have studied and studied and taken every practice exam I can find. I have taken the next two days off from work to study at the library and go through one last exam online. It is very hectic trying to do it now that I landed a contract with a great company. They are very understanding and awesome, but Project Management is hectic by nature, I find." (We will see how she did on the exam later in the article.)
