Okay, you are a part of the latest and greatest start-up company this side of the Mississippi. Now as part of your PM duties, recruiting has been rolled into the mix. Sure you may not have to physically venture out into the cold hard world of recruiting, but it will be your job to sell, sell and sell! There, you have said it out loud…and you think to yourself that it should be a piece of cake! After all, you came on board, didn't you? Not so fast there, bud! Remember, not everyone is going to be hired in at the ground floor like you, with all of the stock options and other magical bonuses, the likes of which you would never have seen in corporate America. You will have to sell the "concept" of the company to your candidate. Sounds like a pretty broad statement, doesn't it? It is, so let's break down the information you need so you can not only sell it, but believe it enough bring in your whole team. After all, HR can only do so much in the recruiting process. The rest of the battle is yours and yours alone as Almighty Project Manager!
