Baselines, Metrics and Measures...Oh My!
We have often heard the concepts "baselines," "metrics" and "measures" bantered around in the same breath, and yet we generally don't know what these words mean, or their importance. While some people avoid using these fuzzy concepts, others make a good effort to use them, if only to be on the cutting edge of the best practices in their industry.What you probably don't know is that these concepts are closely related and you really can't have one without the other. My goal in this three-part series is to teach you to appreciate these important concepts and put them into practice.
