Be Pro-Learning to Be Productive (Part 2 of 2)
It was clear from Part 1 that you need a very specific plan to set up a pro-learning environment where knowledge and skill gaps do not hinder productivity. There were several action items associated with this plan, none of which you really want to take on by yourself.
Not that you don't have the time or expertise, it's because...okay, it's because you don't have the time or expertise. Certainly you have better things to do with your time, and some of the analysis and promotional functions and schedule details are better handled by specialists in other departments.
A Happy Engagement: Obtain Assistance from These Groups
The best way to leverage your time in this case is to engage the appropriate specialists to help create the pro-learning culture. Here are some ideas of groups who can provide the assistance you need.
Training Department. This group will be involved in making available courses for workers to complete. Why would they want to help? One of their success metrics is BIS (Butts In Seats). You can help them maximize their productivity. Have them:
